Just did two nights in LA at the Universal Amphitheater, Last night and the
night before. Both shows went off without a hitch. The UA is such a great venue,
especially for hometown shows. Its big enough to sustain lots of energy, and yet
small enough to still feel intimately involved. I didn't get to see much of
Millencolin, but I did catch TSOL on the second night. I just love that band!
Ron's guitar playing is fucking awesome, and Jack is the type of front-man that
is hard not to watch. During the first night's show, Jack started giving out
directions to Dexter's house. Pretty Funny. I'll be able to catch Millencolin
once we get out of LA, and am excited to see them play again.
Before Saturday's show I did an interview with Bluetorch TV at Dexter's
studio. We were supposed to talk about the "Huck It" video, but the girl who
interviewed me is certifiably insane. It should be a funny interview though. At
one point we were spitting all over the place, then we went out to ride
motorized skateboards that go about thirty miles an hour. I gotta get me one of
those! I actually watch Bluetorch a lot. It's about the only sports show I can
stand to watch. They started out focusing on surfing, skateboarding,
snowboarding, motocross, and those sorts of sports, but now they're spending
more time on music too. I'll try to let you know when the interview will air.
I want to say thanks to all of our friends and family who came to the last
three shows. It gets kind of hectic at hometown shows because there are so many
people there, whom we don't get to see very often, that we all get spread out
very thinly. So I'd like to send a big thank you to all who showed up, supported
us, and put up with all the craziness afterwards. We'll se you all again next
Oh yeah, I was talking with Web Dude the other night and we were talking
about a little-known phenomenon called "Female Ejaculation." It turns out that
some women can shoot out nearly buckets of fluid when they achieve orgasm. I've
never experienced this myself, but apparently Web Dude has, and recently! I just
thought you should all know this.
